Why am excited for you

I can imagine the excitement and joy for those students finalizing their last year either at certificate, diploma or degree level. Life is indeed a journey and the college experience is exactly a part of it.

A very interesting culture exists at the College of Business Education Dar es salaam campus that I myself with the class I completed with passed through as we sat for our final papers.

The finalists from different departments in college always have a special uniform dress cord they wear towards the end of their last papers during the second semester and of course their end of year exams.

This is spiced up with dinning and partying together with their respective heads of department just after completing their final paper a sweet victorious celebration. You know it wasn't an easy journey.

I have being enjoying pictures and videos early this week and surely felt their huge excitement. Towards the end of this destination, the college journey is worth a mixture of memories, both sweet and bitter but allas we were all there once in a lifetime.

The college experience has a lot to offer and even though you are all super excited for sitting for your last college papers, missing college is something you will go through. If it is not now then later in life lol.

I remember the late night cramming sessions and waking up at 4am just to master a certain topic that you be lucky enough to even find a related question in the exam .

During those days craved freedom of ruining away from such a lifestyle but later missed that part of college. Actually college left a lot of us memories with beautiful memories.

I had roomies who would rather skip a group discussion than sacrifice a girls night out. Anyway let’s save that for another day .let’s enjoy this excitement hey.! The world is now your platform my dear youngsters. The road to graduation has just begun literally!

You just have to believe that someday soon you will wear that graduation gown in that massive hall where all your family and friends attention is on your lol! The big day huh! All eyes on you. Personally that day i picture my wedding day lol! The attention, love and affection were unexplainable.

I had the day of my life. May the lord bless your beautiful souls for making my day a worth remembering. You realise how much love you can get from family, friends and acquaintances. May this day recur once more literally!

I wish you would have thrown an invitation card for me too, places like Serena Hotel are classy joints I wouldn't want to miss if I was invited. However you all looked perfectly dressed, smart and elegant.

For those from the Accounts department, you rocked and I wish you all the very best .The academic journey has just began. May you write a success story as you go out to the world out there.

Go rock that boat like never before, with your skills and knowledge you have acquired in those several years, may you go out there and make use of it.

Those sleepless nights, endless group discussions and of course boring lectures with boring lessons lol don’t let that go to waste. Be angry and get inspired, the sky is just the limit for you.If you have to seek higher learning go for it.

For those students with another year of study or several of them, it is just a matter of time before you finish that college journey. Let the smartly dressed finalists inspire you.

If they made it, you will too in due time. When I joined college, I viewed the 3 years like a century but all in all they passed by. It is just a matter of time.

Fasten your seat belts and drive through but I don't promise you a safe journey though, it is actually a bumpy ride and if you happen to escape hitting supplementary sessions and painful lectures through your way then you are in a perfect place and in a position to arrive safe and sound.The college journey is meant to be experienced, a lifestyle like no other.
