The event include several categories of competitors who will battle it out in the full Marathon to cover a distance of 42 kilometres, half marathon (21) kilometers, a race for disabled and wheelchair cyclists that covers ten kilometers and five kilometer fun run. YaMoto Band has been invited to colour the event through music entertainment.
The Minister For Information, Culture, Arts and Sports Nape Nnauye is expected to grace the day-long event for the first time since his appointment last year.
Over 7,000 participants are expected to feature in the annual event that reverberates across Moshi and neighboring suburbs. Hefty prizes have been set aside for eventual winners in both men and ladies.
