City defender injured, out for two weeks

Mbeya City defender Deogratius Julius will be out of the Mainland Premier League for about two weeks, the team’s physician Joshua Kaseko has stated.

The reliable defender sustained an injury when his team played Tanzania Prisons in a league match at the Sokoine Stadium last weekend.
The Mbeya derby saw the game ending in a barren draw.

The physician said that after conducting diagnosis it was found that the player sustained a knee injury that will keep him out of the ground for two weeks.
Kaseko stands to miss both premier league and FA matches.

“We are doing what we can bring him to recover as soon as possible,” the physician said.

The defender will miss a premier league match against Toto Africans of Mwanza to be played in Mbeya and another game against African Sports set for next Thursday in Tanga.
