Samsung Galaxy S7 waterproof gadget launched

Live demonstrations of the Galaxy S7 were held across several shopping malls in the city and other selected shops. The live demonstrations also included the use of Samsung’s new Gear VR- a virtual reality headset that allows users to play virtual reality content.

“Gear VR provides a more immersive experience to the person wearing the headset, when compared to playing or watching content on a flat screen, as your entire field-of-view is taken up by the content playing from your phone,” said President of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics DJ Koh in a press statement availed yesterday.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is the first smartphone with dual-pixel technology with a fast autofocus for less blur. With the new advanced sensor for catching details in low light, it allows the user to capture moments as you actually see them.

“Our phones go everywhere with us- except in water. Samsung’s S7 has now opened up a new world to use it in-rain, shower or the pool,’ he added noting the phone’s longer lasting battery.

“We believe in a world that is brighter, sharper, more convenient, and more fun. We strive to deliver on that vision with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge by marrying elegant design with functionality,” detailed DJ Koh.

“Tanzanians consumers’ lifestyles are changing fast and their demands and expectation for classic mobile phones is highly increasing.

Operating System is a crucial factor when considering modern smartphones because it has a very big impact on the phone's overall usability, functionality and convenience,” said product manager Samsung electronics Tanzania Rayton Kwembe.

Smartphones are as much about enjoying media as they are about communicating. One can watch movies, play games and view photos on your mobile screen and you want the crispest display around.

Shortage of storage space and security has always been an issue to Tanzanian’s mobile users, with the S7 these are no longer most gabbed-about features. The phone standards out with its fingerprint sensor.

Most Standard mobiles have very limited internet capabilities, the internet is difficult to use because of the small screen and slower hardware.

With high processing power and software compatibility, the S7 can be used to perform all internet activities.

At the launch, clients were able to pre-order the S7 and will receive free Samsung’s Wireless Bluetooth earphones known as the Samsung Level U. Ergonomically designed for long term wear, these headphones feature a flexible urethane joint to wear around your neck and stabilising wing ear gels for in-ear comfort.
