Aucho, who plays for NBC Premier League club, Yanga, was the last player to join the Uganda team’s base at Mercure Hotel in Ismailia following the arrival of the other players on Sunday.

The defensive midfielder arrived in Egypt on Wednesday morning and his arrival brought the total of players in camp to 26, preparing for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers' tie against Tanzania's Taifa Stars.

It should be noted that Cranes' final squad had 27 players but goal-getter Sadat Anaku pulled out after sustaining an injury while turning out for his Scottish Premier League club, Dundee United.

Aucho indicated he is ready to offer full commitment and work with the rest of the players to deliver success.

“I’m happy to find everyone in camp geared towards the forthcoming games against Tanzania,” the performer stated.

The midfielder noted: “Definitely derbies are never easy but we all know our target and are ready to offer everything in our means as players.”

Uganda will lock horns with Tanzania in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers' Group F clash at Suez Canal Authority Stadium today before the two teams face off again four days later in Dar es Salaam.

The two squads' doubleheader takes place with Uganda languishing at bottom of Group F of the AFCON Qualifiers with a single point.Cranes' squad:
