The Ghanaian winger, former Azam FC star, joined Singida Big Stars during this season's mini-transfer window, the footballer though has failed to don the club's kits due to the leadership of his former side, Guinea's Horoya AC, delaying his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
Pluijm said the player is still in Tanzania continuing to train with his teammates while his side's officials continue to monitor his issue closely to ensure he plays next season.
"He has great speed on the field, he knows how to shield the ball, he can disturb the opponents via deadly dribbles and any coach would not want to lose a player of his type because he plays well at number 10 and 11," he said.
The Dutch pointed out: "We are confident we will get his registration done, he has been very calm on the situation and we believe he will be of merit when he steps on the pitch for us."
Agyei said that despite the challenges, he continues to fight in training to keep himself fit, pointing out he concentrates on playing in Tanzania because he enjoys life here.
"I'm confident, I have been here before, the football fans are very passionate about the game, being part of the hype around the game adds more motivation for me to elevate my game as I wait for my ITC," the Ghanaian winger noted.
Singida Big Stars Chief Executive Officer, John Kadutu, said the world soccer governing body (FIFA) announced that Agyei is free but the challenge lies in his former side, Horoya AC, which is delaying his ITC.
"Our lawyers are continuing to work on the issue and we have high hopes that he will be part of our team, that's why until today we are still with him continuing to train with his teammates," he said.
Singida Big Stars are enjoying their debut season in the NBC Premier League occupying the fourth spot with 51 points from 26 games played while third-placed Azam FC has played one more tie whilst notching 53 points.
The Singida side is also to play against Yanga in this season's Azam Sports Federation Cup semi-final.
