JiuZhou Gymkhana cricketers were coming up against Alliance Caravans in a fiercely contested match that had spectators on the edge of their seats until the very last ball.

The highly anticipated clash took place at Leaders Club, with JiuZhou Gymkhana winning the toss, electing to bat first, and ending with 149/9 in the allotted 20 overs.

JiuZhou Gymkhana's openers, led by skipper Amit Raghuvanshi, strode confidently to the crease to face Alliance Caravans' formidable bowling attack.

However, the early exchanges did not go in favour of JiuZhou Gymkhana, as they found themselves losing wickets at regular intervals.

The opposition bowlers applied relentless pressure, leaving the batsmen struggling to find their rhythm.

Amidst the collapse, Mohammed Yunus was a performer who stood tall and provided a glimmer of hope for JiuZhou Gymkhana.

Displaying sublime stroke play and calculated aggression, Yunus single-handedly led his team's fightback.

His blistering knock of 43 runs from just 23 balls injected some much-needed impetus into the innings.

Abbas Adamji, slotted in at number three, was one of four performers in the innings that ended with two-digit figures, recording 22 runs.

Much as opener Amit Raghuvanshi had his batting spell cut shot by the opponents' cricketer, Amal Rajeevan, the former returned to the pavilion with 19 runs.

Gurvinder Singh was JiuZhou Gymkhana's other cricketer that made his way back with tw-digit figure, having scored 14 runs.

JiuZhou Gymkhana managed to reach a respectable total of 149 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Chasing the target, Alliance Caravans faced an uphill task against a disciplined JiuZhou Gymkhana bowling attack.

The opening duo of Rahul Sharma and Rajeevan approached the chase cautiously, aware of the importance of building a solid foundation.

They focused on rotating the strike and capitalizing on any loose deliveries, steadily accumulating runs.

However, the pressure mounted as wickets fell at crucial junctures, with the Gymkhana bowlers refusing to relent.

Nevertheless, Sharma emerged as the bedrock of the Alliance Caravans' innings. His composed knock of 42 runs from 39 balls served as an anchor, keeping his team in the hunt.

As the match entered its final overs, the equation became more daunting for Alliance Caravans.

The crowd's anticipation grew with every delivery. In a nail-biting climax, Kassim Nassoro and Jishnu Sunil showcased nerves of steel, with a partnership of 27 runs for Alliance Caravans.

With 27 runs required off the last two overs, the fate of the match hung in the balance.

The tension reached its zenith as the bowler sprinted in to deliver the last ball.

In a dramatic turn of events, Alliance Caravans' clinched victory off the very last ball ensuring that they head home with the crucial points on the board.

Alliance Caravans sealed the victory with their final score of 150 runs for the loss of seven wickets, securing an unforgettable win by six wickets.

The match showcased the resilience and fighting spirit of both teams, captivating fans with its twists and turns.

Nassoro went home with the Colourflex Man of the Match Award for his brilliant all round contribution.

Jishnu Sunil’s cameo was adjudged the Rickshaw Game Changing Moment of the match.
