Coastal Union and African Sports are completely submerged inside the relegation pool with each having 15 points after twenty appearances. The duo has joined Coast Region’s JKT Ruvu that has the same number of points but languishing at the base of the standings table. The three teams are separated by goal aggregate with Coastal Union at the top of the two other troubled teams.
Tanga’s third team though not in relegation pool but with slightly enough points to open three-point gap above the drop zone borderline is Mgambo Shooting. Shooting have 18 points but come next round the standings might possibly tilt depending on performance of the teams.
Three teams will be relegated to the First Division at the end of the season in early May.
