Yanga host JKT Ruvu at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam while Simba travel to Shinyanga to play Kagera Sugar at the Kambarage Stadium and Azam FC host Mwadui FC at Azam Complex of their Chamazi base on the outskirts of the city.
Although defending champions and league leaders Yanga play a team considered as underdogs, a loss for them may dethrone them from top if Simba and Azam FC win their matches.
One thing is certain, that Yanga will not be ready to lose or draw again as they did in their last two away matches.
They were hammered 2-0 by Coastal Union at the Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga last Saturday before drawing 2-2 with Tanzania Prisons last Wednesday at the Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.
Yanga have 40 points from 17 games followed by Simba and Azam FC who have 39 points each.
Azam FC who recently won a trophy in Zambia, are placed third with two matches at hand.
Simba who have played the same number of matches with their archrivals are placed second on goal deference.
Teams which face the city big three are in the relegation zone except Mwadui FC. The Shinyanga side are placed fifth with 28 points in the 16-team league while Kagera Sugar with 15 points are in the 12th place. JKT Ruvu are in 14th place with 13 points.
Other games in the menu are Mbeya City and Tanzania Prisons meeting at the Sokoine Stadium in a Mbeya derby.
Ndanda FC play Mtibwa Sugar at the Nangwanda Sijaona grounds in Mtwara, Toto Africans host Coastal Union at the Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza while Majimaji and Mgambo JKT lock horns at the Majimaji ground in Songea.
