DStv introduces new package

Jacqueline Woiso, Multichoice Tanzania Managing Director, disclosed at the package launch in Dar es Salaam yesterday the product will offer the Tanzanian customers a wide range of selection of products as per the latter's purchasing power.

Jacqueline pointed out: “This product's launch is done under our priority, which is focusing on giving our customers the best products at a cheap price.''

The Multichoice Tanzania boss disclosed: ''We know our customers and the rest are going through difficulties economically and, for that matter, we have assessed the best way which will see to it the Tanzanians enjoy entertainment and other programs at cheap price.''

Jacqueline revealed the 'DStv Poa' consists of over 40 good channels for news, films, sports, and lots of entertainment as per the customers' needs.

The DStv, Jacqueline pointed out, has further set up a new channel, Maisha Magic Poa, which will have great programs, which include ‘Ni Yeye’, hosted by popular domestic artists, Rashid Makwiro 'Chid Benz' and Khalid Mohamed 'TID'.

The channels offer such programs as 'Vichekesho vya Watu Baki', a popular comedy show 'Origino Comedy', and Swahili series, 'Kapuni', 'Sarafu', 'Mwantumu' and films 'Mambo Moto'.

MultiChoice Tanzania's Head of Marketing, Ronald Shelukindo, disclosed with the package containing a lot of channels and content, the DStv customer should expect lots of entertainment from it.

Shelukindo stated: “This is truly a good package given it has over 40 channels, all of them will be accessed at 9,900/- per month.''

The official noted there is more good news for the DStv customers, whose accounts have much balance for affording the package, they will, if they wish, be connected to the package for 9,900/- and continue enjoying entertainment. New customers can seek a DStv subscription for 59,000/-.
