The camp opened its doors in early February 2024 and is located in the exclusive and private Fort Ikoma area, teaming with rich residential wildlife, including lions, giraffes, elephants, and many more.

“We generate a significant part of our own electricity through solar panels, with a backup generator, we also encourage recycling, and avoid single-use plastic. Moreover, the decking that covers the veranda is made of composite materials that are not harmful to nature. The tents are designed to have an environmentally sustainable and safe footprint that cannot cause any damage to nature”. Said Ms Lusinda Nortje, the hotel’s General Manager.  

One of the unique features of the camp is that it has the structure of a lodge but the luxury look and feel of a tent. With isolated wall panels covered in canvas, stackaway glass folding doors, and glass windows, you enjoy the safety of a solid structure within the canvas. The standard rooms are equipped with a king-size bed, private balcony, and full en-suite bathroom including a double basin and luxury bathtub. Luxury finishes with plush bedding, towels & bathrobe, desk with chair as well as telephone and wifi.

The camp’s VIP room is tastefully decorated with plush bedding, king king-size bed, occasional chairs, furnished balcony with an outdoor hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Also indoor and outdoor shower, desk, and veranda. As the sun sets over the Serengeti, guests can relish unparalleled views from the comfort of their tents or unwind at the open-air bar and bonfire nestled in the heart of the jungle, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
