GF trucks for 16 years now has been assembling vehicles and machinery from manufacturers namely XCMG, FAW and Tipper to serve for construction and mining operations.
GF Trucks senior marketing officer Paul Msuku said on Saturday that the company has decided to invest in serving all stakeholders in the mining, construction and transportation sectors by selling its products at affordable prices.
He said that since last year, the company has developed a mechanism to enable small mining companies to acquire machinery loans at low cost.
"GF Trucks is a partner and dealer of XCMG machines in Tanzania. This year XCMG has marked 80 years in this business;
It has devoted itself more to enabling small-scale miners to get mining equipment at affordable prices and loans," said Msuku.
He said the XCMG Company has large plants with modern technology and encouraged people to buy its products during this period of price reduction.
"In recognition of stakeholders with small capital, we have decided to have an offer for our customers while celebrating 80 years of XCMG's existence," he said.
He said that GF Trucks in collaboration with financial institutions have started a procedure to enable contractors and small miners to acquire machines so that they can bring competition to big companies.
President of Tanzania Miners' Association (FEMATA), John Bina urged the miners to explore the opportunity.
Previously, FEMATA through STAMICO entered into an agreement with the GF Trucks Company to cooperate in ensuring that the miners are relieved by being given tools at a low cost.
Bina congratulated the company and asked them to continue opening offices in all areas with mines so that miners can benefit.
As of this month, the company has opened offices in Ruvuma and Mbeya regions; the lake zone in Geita and plans to open a new office in Chunya district.
He said that in realizing the price reduction called Sabasaba special, the company has focused on selling machinery used for construction projects such as XCMG Motor grade.
He said that local contractors with construction projects have all it takes to explore the opportunity as the new financial year has just started and national contractors are a priority.
The company sells heavy trucks and machines such as FAW, HONG YANG and Tipper used in various activities when there are sand quarries and in some councils they have been used to collect garbage.
